Lamisil is used for the treatment of tinea capitis (dermatophyte insects) in cats and jags. Terbinafine is an antirheumatic drug. It is also used in the treatment of ringworm (ringworm disease) in man. Treatment is based on changing the symptoms (such as pain, burning, itching, swelling, redness, itching pustules, or white or black staining of the skin that occurs as a result of Lamisil's action usually produces a return to normal normal activity level after discontinuation of drug).
Lamisil is administered orally. The capsules should be swallowed whole with water. Treatment should begin as early as possible (at the first signs of pain and/or burning) and continue for 7 days or more. If symptoms of Lamisil (such as pain, burning, itching, redness, itching pustules, white or black staining of the skin caused by Lamisil's action, redness, pustules of treatment) do not return after discontinuation of treatment, treatment may be continued with Lamisil taken for treatment of ringworm (ringworm disease) in man.
If symptoms of Lamisil (umbai or karnapura pain, rash, severe itching, redness, blistering of the skin caused by Lamisil's action) return after discontinuation of treatment, treatment may be continued with Lamisil taken for treatment of ringworm (ringworm disease) in man.
The capsules may be taken with or without food. The capsules may be taken with or without water. It is especially important to take the capsules with a glass of water at the same time as the capsule. Use with caution in cases of allergic reactions (such as a rash, clinical condition (see section on side effects)
Lamisil should not be administered to children or elderly patients because it is not intended for use in these patients.

The above effects are generally mild and may resolve in a day. However, once treatment has been stopped, the capsules may come to an end. If capsule breakouts (such as redness, blistering of the skin, white or black staining of the skin caused by the medicines combined with the occurrence of Lamisil's action usually produce a return to normal normal level after discontinuation of the medicine. Stop taking the medicine and tell your doctor immediately.
The specific amount of drug that will be eliminated by the liver is not known but is thought to depend on terbinafine and terbinafine and drug substance. See also: list of possible side effects. Note: not all effects of terbinafine and terbinafine2 (terbinafine and terbinafine) are specific.

Lamisil AT 1% Cream can be used on the skin where athlete's foot is present. It does not apply to the entire body, but it can be used to treat athlete's foot by killing the fungi commonly causing it.
Directions:Rub the cold lotion into the affected area 3-4 times daily. If you miss it, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next one, skip the missed one and resume the regular schedule. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using this product. Do not use Lamisil AT 1% Cream if you are allergic to terbinafine or to any other active ingredient. Always wash hands with soap and water before and after using this product. If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional.
